Comic Expo Star Wars

The annual four-day Calgary Expo, the largest pop culture convention in Western Canada, graces this fair city as Calgarians love all things comic.

More than 100,000 people come to Calgary Expo (April 27 – 30 2017) to pose with their favourite comic stars and creators, wander through hundreds of vendors and exhibitors and otherwise get their geek on.

Calgary Expo has hosted cast reunions of iconic films or television series including Star Trek: The Next Generation and Aliens, as well as hosted concerts and cocktail parties with cast from cult shows like Torchwood and Game of Thrones. Calgarians dress up in droves for costume competitions (for kids and their parents), parades and other special events.
